How did Jordan propose? Jordan proposed on the rooftop of our building, which is where our first date had been three years earlier. I thought I was meeting Jordan on the roof for some drinks, but when I got upstairs the roof was decorated with roses, and there was champagne, tons of gummy bears (my absolute favorite candy), and music. Coincidentally one of our neighbors had been practicing his violin on the roof while Jordan set up, and Jordan convinced him to stay and provide music during the proposal. Jordan then surprised me with a celebration dinner at my favorite restaurant.
Standout Memory of the night: Standing in the middle of the dance floor together, cutting our wedding cake, and looking out at the room filled with our closest family and friends was incredibly special.
Honeymoon Location: We went to Turks and Caicos immediately after the wedding, and are plan on taking an extended honeymoon in 2015.
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Book Fred Marcus Studios as your wedding photographer!
Groom’s Tux: Custom, purchased at Victor Talbots
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift: The bridesmaids received gold monogram bracelets. The groomsmen received monogrammed garment bags and three of our favorite bottles of wine.
Something Borrowed: My bouquet was wrapped in lace from the veil my mother wore when she married my father.
TESTIMONIAL: The entire Fred Marcus team could not have been more friendly and professional. Brian, Anton, and the entire crew went above and beyond throughout our entire wedding weekend. They were so much fun to work with and made us feel comfortable throughout our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, and pre-wedding photos. We couldn’t be happier with the incredible shots they got. A huge thank you to Brian and the entire Fred Marcus team for being a part of our wedding and for capturing it all on camera!
