How did Chris propose? Andrew and I both went to college in Boston and he ended up proposing during our first trip back there together. After a dinner in the North End we got dessert at our favorite Italian bakery “Mike’s Pastry”. He had arranged ahead of time to have “Will you marry me?” written on my favorite cookies. It was such an amazing surprise when we went to go eat our dessert at the Boston Harbor later that night.
Standout Memory of the night: The last song of our reception was “We Are Young” by Fun. All of our friends and family were on the dancefloor and surrounded us in a circle as we all sang at the top of our lungs.
Honeymoon Location: St. Lucia
One piece of advice that you could give to other couples: Marry your best friend and you’ll never be bored.
Bridesmaids’ Gift and Groomsmen’ Gift: Love Ophelia Serendipity Robe and Personalized Flasks
Something borrowed and something blue: Something Blue was a blue piece of fabric with our names and the date that was sewn into my wedding dress. My something borrowed was a piece of lace from the wedding dress that my grandmother and mother wore for their own weddings, which I wrapped around my bouquet.
Testimonial: Working with Felix was awesome! Right from the start when we met him for our engagement shoot he immediately made us feel relaxed and comfortable. On our wedding day, he had such fun and unique ideas for shots (that turned out fabulous!) but was also able to get some great candids and very polished formal portraits. He was a pleasure to work with and we would certainly give him a glowing recommendation in terms of his professionalism, creativity and great final product.
